KIDS COUNT® is a project of The Annie E. Casey Foundation (Casey) and a good source of data on children and families. Each year, Casey produces a comprehensive report, called the KIDS COUNT Data Book — that assesses child well-being in the United States. Data is available by state, county, school district, city, or congressional district, depending on the data category. Data can be viewed by demographics, including race/ethnicity, and there are a number of categories centered on racial equity in child well-being.
