United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service Program Data

The Program Data site includes data from national food and nutrition safety net programs like SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and WIC (Women, Infants, Children), food distribution programs, and child nutrition programs (like school lunch programs). The data is available at the state, county, or – in some cases Congressional district -- levels, and there are some ready-made reports and snapshots for Colorado. This source is best for contextual data about food security, but does not provide data at a smaller geography.
